Please carefully review our terms and conditions before making a booking with us.
1. Travel Insurance: All clients must have comprehensive travel insurance covering the duration of their trip. Coverage should include medical expenses, personal accident, repatriation, and cancellation. Go-East Travel will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred due to inadequate insurance coverage.
2. Visas and Travel Documents: Clients are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas, permits, passports, and other travel documents required for their holiday. Go-East Travel cannot be held liable for any issues arising from visa rejections or insufficient travel documentation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all relevant immigration requirements.
3. Health and Fitness: It is the client’s responsibility to determine whether they are physically able to meet the demands of the tour they choose. While the intensity of our tours can be adjusted with advance notice, certain tours include activities such as hiking, climbing, or skiing that require a high level of fitness. Go-East Travel reserves the right to refuse a client’s participation in an activity if their fitness level poses a risk to their safety or the safety of others. Clients requiring specific arrangements to participate in a tour must agree with a Go-East Travel representative prior to booking.
4. Vaccinations: It is the client’s responsibility to obtain the necessary vaccinations for their chosen destination. Adequate immunisation protects not only individual health but also contributes to the collective health of the group. Clients should consult with their healthcare provider well in advance to determine the specific vaccinations recommended or required for their destination.
5. Assumption of Risks: By booking with Go-East Travel, clients acknowledge and accept full responsibility for the risks associated with travel, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, illness, loss or damage to personal belongings, delays, and cancellations. Clients should be aware that adventurous activities such as mountain climbing, horse riding, and sailing involve additional inherent risks and require a higher level of fitness and skill. It is the client’s responsibility to assess their abilities and choose a tour that suits their capabilities.
6. Clothing and Equipment: Clients are expected to arrive for tours with suitable clothing and equipment corresponding to the activities outlined in our itineraries. The success and enjoyment of your journey often hinge on having the right gear for each adventure. Whether it involves horse riding, skiing, or spending long hours exposed to the elements, having appropriate attire and equipment is essential for safety and full participation. Failure to bring necessary clothing and equipment may limit your participation in certain activities, so careful consideration and adherence to these guidelines will enhance your overall travel experience.
7. Group Size: Our standard practice involves managing small and medium-sized groups for our tours, with the average group size specified in the tour description. During peak seasons, especially in the summer, group sizes may exceed the indicated maximum, and we reserve the right to surpass the stated limit. While we strive to distribute the group among guides to enhance your comfort, operational constraints may occasionally limit this effort. Rest assured, we are committed to providing the best possible experience and will make every effort to accommodate and ensure a seamless tour despite potential variations in group size.
8. Supplier Itinerary Changes: Go-East Travel relies on trusted suppliers to operate many of the advertised trips. While we make every effort to ensure the itinerary is followed as planned, circumstances beyond our control may require last-minute changes. We cannot be held responsible for any changes made by suppliers, including but not limited to accommodations, transportation, and activities. We will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives if changes occur.
9. Trip Cancellation by Go-East Travel: We reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to either provide a full refund or offer an alternative tour date. We cannot be held liable for any additional costs or losses incurred as a result of trip cancellation.
10. Trip Cancellation by the Client: Clients can cancel their travel arrangements at any time by providing written notice to our offices. The cancellation charges, calculated as a percentage of the travel arrangement price, are as follows: deposit only for cancellations more than 56 days before departure; 50% between 56 and 31 days; 75% between 30 and 15 days; and 100% for cancellations within 14 days of the trip departure date. For any cancellations following the departure date, clients will be liable to pay 100% of the trip cost. Unused service or tour arrangements are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you need to cancel, you may transfer your booking to a third party who meets the tour requirements, but we reserve the right to retain your deposit to cover the administration costs of the transfer.
11. Extra Costs and Alterations in Advertised Cost of Tours: Clients should be aware that certain costs, including entry fees to museums, restaurant expenses, and miscellaneous charges, may not be included in the initial tour price. While our tours encompass a comprehensive experience, additional expenses may arise. Clients are expected to anticipate and budget for these expenditures to ensure a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. Additionally, in rare circumstances, Go-East Travel reserves the right to alter the price of a trip already purchased, providing transparency and flexibility in the face of unforeseen situations.
12. Complaints: If you have any complaints regarding your tour, please inform our representatives or contact us through the designated contact page on our website during the tour. We will make every effort to resolve any issues promptly and effectively. Failure to notify us during the tour may limit our ability to investigate and rectify the situation.
13. Authority of Company Representatives: Participation in the trip signifies your agreement to adhere to the authority and decisions of our employees, tour leaders, agents, and suppliers. Their guidance on conduct, itinerary, and objectives of the tour is final. It is crucial to follow the directions provided by our company representatives and affiliates throughout the trip to ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of the entire group, contributing to a positive and enjoyable travel experience for all involved.
14. Designated Meeting Times and Places: The company assumes no liability for any additional expenses incurred by clients who fail to follow the instructions of our representatives or service providers, including instances of lateness that may require catching up with the group. Our responsibility commences when clients meet our representative at the designated meeting point at the appointed time. Non-compliance with instructions leading to late arrivals or other deviations will result in costs or inconveniences being the sole responsibility of the client. It is imperative for clients to adhere to provided instructions to ensure a seamless and enjoyable travel experience.
15. Client Conduct: Go-East Travel reserves the right to refuse to accept or retain any client whose behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or poses a risk to the safety and enjoyment of others. In such cases, the client may be removed from the tour without any refund. Clients are expected to adhere to local laws, customs, and regulations throughout the tour. Any engagement in illegal acts may result in the termination of the client’s participation, with the company assuming no responsibility.
16. Damage to Property: Clients are responsible for any damage caused to supplier property or the property of other clients during the tour. Any costs incurred for repairing or replacing damaged property will be the client’s responsibility.
17. Advertising Material: Images featured on our website are provided for illustrative purposes only and may not necessarily reflect clients’ actual experiences in-country. We encourage clients to view these visuals as a general guide, understanding that the true essence of travel lies in the unique and sometimes unpredictable nature of each journey.
