How is my language level monitored?
Every week, students are given weekly tests. Upon completion of a unit, a review is conducted to evaluate progress, correct mistakes, and optimise further study. At the end of the course, the student takes a final test, which includes an evaluation of knowledge in all lexical/grammatical and communicative topics of the programme, as well as an assessment of skills and abilities in reading, speaking, writing, and listening.
Can I change groups if the level is too hard or easy?
Yes! Please let the school's programme managers know if you wish to switch to an alternative class. This can be done in the first weeks of starting a programme.
Will I receive a certificate at the end of the course?
If the final test is passed successfully, the Certificate of Completion is presented to the student. The Certificate indicates the name of the course, dates when the course was taken, the level, and the number of academic hours. The Certificate is issued in the language being learned. On the other side of the Certificate there is a description of student’s language achievements.
Will the school have Wi-Fi?
Yes. All our partner institutions have internet available in classrooms.
How many students will be in the class?
The average number of students in our classes is 6. It can vary, but it is never more than 10. It allows each student to get personal attention of the teacher.
What happens on bank holidays?
Usually during bank holidays school is closed, no classes are held, and students are not charged.
What type of accommodation is available?
There are several accommodation options available based on your preference. Whether you wish to maximise your language practice by staying with local hosts, prefer the privacy of your own place, or opt to stay in a hotel, you can choose the type of accommodation that best suits your needs. Please speak with a Go-East Travel representative to confirm your preference.
How far in advance should I book onto a course?
We recommend to register no later than 4 weeks before the start of classes. If registration occurs after that time, we will do everything possible to accommodate you but can give no guarantees.
How and when should I pay for my classes?
It’s advisable to enrol and make payment at least three weeks before the class begins. To secure your spot and avoid disappointment, we recommend enrolling as early as possible.
What happens if I cancel my language programme?
We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds following a client booking.
